Tools for teachers and students that bring learning to life!
At Dan D. Rogers, our mission is to provide our learners with a student-centered personalized learning environment using a rigorous standards-based model to develop foundational skills in the lower grades (K-2) and a competency-based approach that supports college readiness and builds skills applicable to the real-world in the upper grades (3-5). Our educational philosophy is grounded in our belief that all students have the right to receive a personalized education in a safe environment that recognizes their individual strengths, interests, motivations, and needs. We have high expectations for our students and promote the importance of every student setting high expectations for him/herself. We have the firm belief that our students can excel at setting incremental, achievable goals and use them to attain an over-arching goal of graduating from college with at least a four-year degree. Through an individualized curriculum path, a flexible learning environment and 21st century tools, students will master the skills they need to put them on the path to college readiness. We believe that collaboration among faculty, families, and community is crucial in the academic, social and psychological development of the student. We further believe that our school provides students with all the resources necessary to attain their academic goals, develop an appreciation for learning and achieve their dreams.
